INFORMATION ON NATIONAL PARKS OF MALAYSIA :-
Wonders of Malaysian National Parks Visit the national parks in Malaysia if you want to see and experience the real magic and wonders of wildlife and nature in their natural environment. Wildlife and nature-lovers will surely find the parks in Malaysia truly fascinating, especially because of their extensive diversity and amazing spread of tropical fauna and flora in the untouched wild rain-forests, oldest in the world, that evolved over 130 million years ago. The state and national parks in Malaysia, including the marine parks, sanctuaries and reserves, are in fact "fenced up" living microcosms depicting the richness and diversity of the wonderful, original flora and fauna species of the country. Where are the national parks in Malaysia located? Well, you can find the state and national parks in Malaysia, including marine and wildlife reserves and sanctuaries, spread out in the various states of East and West Malaysia as listed below. A few, like Taman Negara and Endau-Rompin National Park, may span across another neighboring state(s), where they can also be accessed from. It is important to note that while some are open to the public, others may require special permits and authorization to enter. For instance, you can watch turtles at Pulau Talang which is open to the public, but entry to Pulau Satang requires special permits and license from the authorities. Reasons for the Rules and Regulations Needless to say, there are specific rules and regulations for each of the wildlife parks in Malaysia and visitors are expected to abide by them. These rules are not only to ensure that the wildlife and nature in the area remain safe, protected and preserved for future generations but also for the safety of visitors themselves. So some of these nature parks may require licenses and special permits for entry, photography and fishing. And although photography may be allowed, use of flash may be prohibited for photography at certain locations, for example, during turtle nesting and hatchings at night, which will definitely disturb the turtles. So do follow the rules and regulations for the betterment of all.
